The Fund Office Giving to Fight Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States and is the leading cause of cancer death in women throughout the world. In the United States this year, more than 240,000 cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women and 2,600 in men. So no matter who you are or where you live, breast cancer affects all of us one way or another.

The Fund Office employees have been affected by breast cancer through personal diagnosis or the diagnosis or loss of family members. We know that the most important thing is a diagnosis is not a death sentence and breast cancer can be treated.

We have chosen to fight Breast cancer and do what we can to Fight for the Cure because we feel it’s our Corporate Social Responsibility. Many employees have come together to donate to the Susan B. Komen (Sisters of Promise). On November 9, 2019, we presented a check of our donations to a Sisters of Promise Representative here at The Fund Office. The Fund Office believes that we can make a difference through our donations and awareness to fight and end breast cancer!
